Our unique scheduling of ‘block days’ gives students the chance to focus upon three academic classes, and ‘period days’, which allow students to rotate through all of their courses. From Science and Mathematics to English and Social Studies, our middle school students are offered a technology-driven environment within which engaging simulations, interesting projects, and captivating dialogue are the norm.

Beyond the virtues like respect for self and others, compassion, faith, honesty, justice, stewardship, patience, empathy, endurance, responsibility, courtesy and forgiveness, a middle school student leaves the eighth grade as a technologically savvy, confident, and self-aware learner. As we watch our students move on to bigger and better things, we’re not only proud of them, we’re confident that what we have given them is more important than just a good knowledge – it’s a positive attitude, complete education accompanied by a skills-set that will guide them through the greatest challenges of their lives. The middle school years, grades 6 – 8, comprise a unique period in children’s lives when they undergo rapid and profound developmental changes. Sensitivity of our response to both the educational and social/emotional needs of our young adolescents guides their development into young adulthood. The Sunshine International Middle School embraces this opportunity and strives to meet the complex needs of every child, providing one of the best quality middle school programs available. In addition, middle school, a bridge to high school and college, continues our model of excellence to ensure that all students have a pathway to the best colleges.

The Sunshine International Middle School promotes creativity, develops independent thinkers and invites every student to discover unrealized skills and talents. Curricula are designed around major content concepts and interdisciplinary themes at every grade level.
